The revelation

Love that binds us, frees us too.

The amount of expectations fulfilled does not decide the success of a love affair. But expectations are inevitable, as we are human. Our expectations and experiences bind us with prejudices, and we look at the love relationship with that prejudiced perception. As a result, we invite pain along with that love.

Expectations overpower love, bind it, and slowly kill the love. But to expect is to be human.

There exists another kind of love, which knows no reason, no worldly calculation. That love does not require expectations to be fulfilled, as there is no expectation at all. It gives completeness of being. I do not know whether the concept of soul mate is true. But without that concept, we do not find a reason behind this kind of love, that a human mind always looks for.

It feels like an end to long search, that fills you with eternal peace and faith. You know, you have nowhere to go anymore. You are complete and free. You have it all here. True love is such. Unless you are touched by that kind of love, your heart is a virgin. Your soul is thirsty. Yes it is.

It is difficult to express that love through words. But I did, with an intention to let you know that that such love exists. I wish you have your own experience that completes you.

I will come back with new realizations....till then,

Keep the faith!

When Hope Leaves Me Behind

Love...is the driving force of life. Without that force, we are just passing through the lifetime, without actually living it. To be able to give love is the very requirement of our inner self. At times love relationships fail, miserably! With it fails our desire to live. What do you do?

You lose faith on you and shut down the doors of hope. Yeah we all do so. Because, before love fails us, before we give up on love...we go extra miles...at times defying all logic of a sane mind. Then when we say enough, that means we have no hope left.

This condition is acute...this hopelessness and lovelessness...as we stop looking for love...so we stop living.

Jealousy: Replace it with Love

"Drop envy and jealousy, otherwise there is no possibility — because love cannot exist where envy and jealousies exist. Then your search is only for a certain type of power: that in the name of love you are just trying to fulfill the ego. And it is arduous to drop, because love exists only when all the negative elements of the mind are dropped. It is very arduous." OSHO

The other day, in a forum, someone asked, how to handle jealousy. Let me tell you what I do when I am jealous.

First things first, do not consider yourself bitchy when you feel jealous. We are human beings, we are created with equal amount of darkness and light. It is we who later fight back our dark side and explore the light within us. That process is a long journey....during this process, it is okay to feel envious of others' prosperity, love, luck and anything that you wish to possess. Our mind is a tricky thing... and when I say, we are not our mind, that means we are a separate entity, which is not defined by what our mind make us feel like. If you are feeling jealous, do not feel bad. Rather find a way to trick the tricky mind.

Do not try to suppress the feeling of jealousy. The more you suppress, the more intense it would be. Accept that you are jealous. Why are you jealous? You are jealous when you see others have what you want to have...but do not have.

You do not actually like the feeling of jealousy, as it annoys you at the back of your mind. "Why would I be jealous?" You deny yourself having this feeling. Your mind is playing this game.

Accept that the thing you wish to possess, you do not have, but you desire to have. Accept that you do not have that right now. Your friend, colleague, whoever has it, it is not that you do not want them to have it. Just that you do not want to be left behind. You also must have it. Okay!

Sit down. Take a deep breath! Now think of the thing of your desire, for which you are feeling jealous. Initially, you will hate to accept that the person has it and you do not have.  You will feel anger towards that person, do not escape, let yourself feel it. Just remember, your thoughts are not you. You be present there, when your mind is building those thought bubbles. Slowly, you will witness the hatred subsiding...then it is time to separate the person from the object of your desire, what he has and you do not have. Shift your focus from that person to the object of your desire. Completely forget about what the person. Just imagine what you will do when you have it. Think, how you will get it, how happy will you feel after having it.

It is not the person who makes you jealous. It is the object of your desire, your love for the object or person, that makes you sad that you do not have it. Separating the person from the thing of desire solves the problem. You will be relieved to know that you do not hate that person, you are just sad for not having it.

You forget about the person, and think of the object of desire. Automatically you will replace the negative feeling with love. Every time jealousy pricks you, just practice it. Separate the object of your desire from the person. Think about a promotion, a good body, money, power, love...think about how to have it. This way, you feel love, feel hopeful. Jealousy subsides...because you do not have any reason when you know you will eventually get it one day. This is how competition becomes healthy and positive :)

I will come back with another realization...till then,

Keep the faith!

Your Emotions are NOT You

Happiness is a state of being, that we are supposed to be and also, that state is our ultimate aim and destiny too.

Yeah, we do blame a particular situation, a person, or a painful past, even find the self guilty! We just need one reason to be sad. Why do we ignore so many reasons that can make us happy?

Your emotions are not you. Neither your mind is you. Any kind of emotion is a natural part of life, a result of having a body and a brain. Like every living human being, you are to witness those emotions come and go.

Emotions are temporary, YOU are eternal.

When you are suffering emotionally for a certain situation, loss of loved one... betrayal etc. first things first, DO NOT push away your painful thoughts. You think and reject, then again think and reject. This will not help you come out of that situation. By doing so you are escaping.

Accept the pain. Accept the certain situation in your life. Accept that it is there (or it is not there). Then watch your emotions reacting to the situation. You be there, witness your emotions. You scream, weep for hours, hurl things to that person's photo or do whatever it takes to release those emotions.

While you watch yourself releasing those emotions....you let go of those painful emotions. You just watch those emotions pouring out of you, while you watch and experience the whole process.

This process of witnessing how your mind reacts to that painful situation  or about a person, you let go of thinking about it. Slowly, the situation in your life let go of you. And you regain YOU, the eternal one.

I will come back with more realization...till then,
Keep the faith!

The heart is like a flower

The heart is like a flower - unless it is open it cannot release its fragrance into the world. The fragrance of the heart is made up of the qualities and virtues of our spirit. Most of us have learned how to keep our heart closed in a world that would trample all over us if we let it. Being open hearted today seems to require tremendous courage. It is a courage which comes only when we realise that no one can hurt us, no matter what they say or do. They may hurt our body, but if we have realised we are spirit, nothing outside can touch us, if we so decide. Little by little, practice opening your heart to those you think have hurt you. Realise it wasnt them that hurt you, it was yourself. And it taught you not to trust and you closed your heart. A closed heart is in need of opening. And when you do, you will have begun to heal yourself.
Osho

You Grow with Your Experiences When You are Living in the Moments

Life is to grow
Every day is an opportunity to grow a little more...  in pain or in pleasure...our existence is a long learning process. Knowledge earned from life experiences take us one step forward to eternal happiness.

The fact is we will not grow without experiencing each and every feelings of joy, grief, satisfaction, destitute, accomplishment, fullness, void, loss, wonder, cheer, stress, agony, ecstasy.....and many more 'unexplainables'.

Without experiencing each and every type of feelings, our knowledge is incomplete. This learning takes many lives....so it is important for us to be alive each moment. Open your doors to life, increase the level of awareness to experience life. When you are fully aware, you are here and now experiencing each moments with full awareness, you grow up intellectually, emotionally and thereby spiritually.

That is why in our life we will not find anyone who never had a moment of sorrow, or never experienced happiness. For each life has its own parameters, but they do experience, and learn and grow up intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.

Life is experience. So, never feel afraid of making an experiment. Successful or unsuccessful, every experiment in life is worth it. If you really are looking for something, never stop the search...

Bottom line is never be afraid of your experiences, never stop questioning and looking for answers yourself. When you stop, life stops, your growth stops.

I will come back with more realizations...till then

Keep the faith!
